Concord RSL in NSW undertook major extensions to substantially increase the size of its bistro and Manager Bob Comtesse wanted to provide a stunning entry to the new area.
The brief from Bob was to produce something definitively Australian.
He commissioned Spectrum to design a combined fascia and doorway entry to the bistro which would make use of the lighting provided from both sides and enhance the effects of the decorative glass.
Spectrum designers produced a unique bush scene containing all the quintessential ingredients of the Australian outback.
Bob says that the Club members have a wonderful time picking out the different aspects which include an outback dunny, kookaburras, goanna, snake, milk urn letterbox and even a pair of sheep in a compromising position.
