Sandblasted or etched glass can be manufactured in defined patterns, abstract designs or as obscure panels. It is a traditional form of glass manufacture which provides style and elegance to corporate or domestic architecture.

Spectrum produces traditional forms of sandblasted work such as decorative corners, centre motifs and borders from which there is a large number to choose. Full matt-blasted panels are available. in stock sheet sizes of 3 and 6 mm

Colour-filling is often applied to deep-carved sandblast glass to give it a more distinctive character or to match corporate logos. Talk to our design staff about the range of colours available and how these can add greater impact to your design.

Sealing of sandblasted glass to protect against dirt, grease, fingerprints, weathering and contamination can be done, on request, by application of a co-polymer coating. This is an ideal solution to problems usually encountered in busy traffic areas. It provides initial resistance to staining and makes cleaning easy.
